June 17th, 2006 at 7pm Dawn Wilson has long held a passion for photography, children and animals. As a member of Animal Planet’s new series “Planet Action” Dawn traveled the world in an effort to aid the WWF’s global conservation efforts. She documented her work through her photographs. Traveling to remote locations she was able to capture the essence of the animals in which she helped to protect as well as the people who are indigenous to those areas. Dawn is best known for her television career which has spanned over the last fifteen years. As a television executive Dawn brought us such shows as Healthy Living with Dr. Joyce Brothers, Parenting with Kim Alexis and Today’s Health with well-known news anchor Faith Daniel's. On the other side of the camera Dawn was one of the co-host’s and home improvement gurus of TLC’s hit show “In a Fix”. Currently Dawn serves as the Casting Producer for the internationally acclaimed series “Miami Ink” which also airs on TLC. "I am so honored to have a gallery that was able to see the value of these photos. Nothing can compare to a child’s view of the world and an animals vulnerability to the environment and I think I capture both in these photographs.” Along with this amazing show will be 20 of our own local young artists ranging from the ages 3 to 8 that will be participating.
